According to the American Cancer Society, about 10,470 children in the U.S. under 15 will be diagnosed with cancer by the end of 2022. A child’s cancer diagnosis affects them and their whole family. In a split second, their lives go from afternoons spent at the park and dinner with everyone at the table to countless nights at the hospital, filled with medical procedures and sometimes radiation and chemotherapy. This sometimes translates to months away from the comfort of their homes. This is no way for children to spend what is supposed to be their happiest years, and we want to do what we can to alleviate this burden.
Super Cooper’s Little Red Wagon Foundation’s mission is to create a home away from home for children receiving treatment for pediatric cancer. They provide dedicated housing and support services designed to meet their specific needs. In the past two years, they have been able to house around 37 families.
We genuinely believe that no child should be confined to the four walls of a hospital room, especially when going through something so complicated already. Providing them with comfort can even help out their healing process. That is why we have decided to join forces with Super Cooper’s Little Red Wagon Foundation and help as many families as possible cross these challenging roads.
Our goal is to raise awareness for the cause and donate funds to help them continue their community-building efforts. If you would like to support us in our mission, simply recommend your friends, family, and co-workers to receive a no-obligation insurance quote from us, and we’ll donate $10 on your behalf for each one! After all, to empower, we must educate!
