Winter-Warming Mission

One of the most anticipated elements of the winter holiday season is playing in the cool crisp air and enjoying the snowfall. For some though, venturing out into chilling weather is either extremely difficult or not a possibility at all due to lack of warm clothing provisions. This winter the Larry Mitchell Agency is committed to helping those with this need enjoy the holiday season rather than dread it.

Local organizations are especially reliant on donations during these times because warm clothing could very much be the difference between life and death in some cases. In other, less severe situations, this still means many of the youth do not get to enjoy the winter weather with their friends outside. Now you can make a difference in a child’s life by not only spreading the warmth that a new coat, gloves or scarf brings, but the emotional warmth and hope that one finds in being cared for by a member of the community they’ve never met.

Throughout these winter months, we will have a donation box at all our locations for new warm winter clothing items. These include but are not limited to child/adolescent-sized jackets, thermal pants, hats, gloves, wool socks, etc. Additionally, we will donate $10 worth of warm clothing items in your name for each and every individual you send our way for a no-obligation quote.
